2/21/17 Full Council Agenda

An interesting note here: the itemization of the agenda has suddenly reappeared after having been absent since the beginning of the year. All I can say is “thank you”. It helps us, the people of Newark, to hold our elected officials accountable. Transparency = a step towards good government.

2/13/17 School Board Agenda

I’m quite disappointed that I didn’t see this agenda made available before the meeting took place. The meeting wasn’t listed on the calendar and the minutes are still missing. How can we be expected to hold the board accountable when these important documents pertaining to their actions are not consistently/predictably available to us?

Things need to change.
