In part due to my increasingly busy schedule between my job, my work as the Communications Director for John Peters, and other organizing through the Licking County Progressives, I have missed a few school board meetings this year. I plan on resuming my attendance as soon as I can, but I forgot to post the meeting agenda for the meeting last week. The minutes will not be available for that meeting until after they meet next month. In the meantime, I am sharing a link to the meeting’s video alongside the agenda.
As for City Council, I plan on attending the whole gamut of meetings today from the Committees (at 5:45) through to the Full Council (at 7pm). The Safety Committee is planning to have a discussion about the proposal to block off the pedestrian footbridge which allows citizens to walk over State Route 16 to get to and from the downtown area without having to walk over to the Mt. Vernon Road bridge. I’m firmly opposed to the proposal and may well speak on it this evening. Hope to see some of you there!
